  • Donor Privacy Commitment
    The RFC1 Foundation (the Foundation) respects the privacy of our donors. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Information we collect (name, address, email, phone, donation history) is used to process gifts, provide tax receipts, communicate updates, and comply with legal requirements.

    Third-Party Processing
    Donations are processed through PNC Merchant Services.  We do not collect or store payment information (e.g., name, amount, billing details).  The processor maintains its own privacy and security standards.

    Data Security
    We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) and restrict internal access to donor data to authorized personnel only.

  • Use of Funds
    Donations are considered unrestricted unless designated for a specific program. The Foundation retains sole discretion to redirect funds to similar programs if a designated project is overfunded, discontinued, or no longer serves our mission.

    Non-Endorsement
    Donations do not imply endorsement of any donor’s products, services, or opinions.

    Third-Party Links
    Our donation page may link to external sites (e.g., payment processor, event ticketing). We are not responsible for their privacy or refund practices.

    Tax Deductibility
    You are solely responsible for claiming any charitable deduction. No goods or services were provided in exchange for this donation unless explicitly stated (e.g., event tickets, auction items). For donations of $250 or more, you will receive a written acknowledgment.

  • General Policy
    All donations are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or as determined at the sole discretion of the Foundation

    Unauthorized or Erroneous Donations
    If you believe a donation was made in error or without your authorization, please contact us within 10 business days of the transaction date at RFC1Foundation@gmail.com.  We will work with you and our payment processor to investigate and, if verified, issue a refund.

    Duplicate Transactions
    In the case of a confirmed duplicate charge, we will refund the excess amount after verification.

    Refund Process
    Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Donors are responsible for any fees imposed by their bank or card issuer.

    Chargebacks
    To avoid unnecessary fees, please contact us before filing a chargeback. If a chargeback is filed without prior contact, we reserve the right to dispute it and may close future donation access.
